“A common frustration for equity analysts is that too many companies with solid fundamentals and a growth story to tell either lay silent or fail to address key fundamentals that allow us to accurately gauge – or sometimes even recognize – their value. Nagle & Ferri clients deliver their message(s) in a manner that effectively ensures sellside and buyside understanding – and interest.”

Catapult Technology Ventures

Nagle & Ferri is an equity and venture partner in Catapult Technology Ventures, which develops, grows and invests in technology and technology based opportunities, primarily in the following areas:

bulletSpinout Opportunities: These could be spinouts from services companies, larger product companies or subsidiary spinouts. In each case, in addition to its ability to provide capital, Catapult is capable of providing interim management, navigating the company through its formative and early execution phase. By leveraging its network, Catapult assists in recruiting non-interim executives. In some instances, Catapult even provides non-interim executives concurrent with its funding mechanism.

bulletOrganically Grown Companies: Having raised little or no prior preferred equity capital, these are companies in need of expansion or growth capital.

bulletCross-border Investments: Catapult, along with its affiliates, spearheads the formation and funding of a US-based company for technologies or companies that reside overseas. In such cases,

Catapult assists with, as necessary, interim or full-time management for the newly formed company (with US-based headquarters). The country of origin will typically hold the R&D and/or regional sales offices.

bulletRecapitalization, Restructuring and Bankruptcy Buyouts.

bulletAcquisitions: Consisting of total or partial acquisitions by the investor group, providing shareholders with a long-awaited partial or total liquidity event.

Catapult co-invests alongside its venture capital and private equity affiliates. Once we become engaged with an opportunity, we drive the formation of a value-added investment syndicate, based on the company’s needs, market and strategy. Catapult typically takes a minority position in a financing round, focusing most of its efforts in “catapulting” the company, as opposed to actively managing the investment round.
